VIVATECH 2025 – FRANCE & CHINA CROSSING PERSPECTIVES At Viva Technology 2025 in Paris, Caroline PENARD, General Manager of CCI FRANCE CHINE, took part in three major events on the China Pavilion organized by #CCPIT Representative Office in France, contributing to key discussions on innovation, industrial cooperation, and inclusive leadership. CCI FRANCE CHINE warmly thanks the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CPPIT), and particularly Mr. 李文国LI Wenguo, Deputy Representative General of the #CCPIT Representative Office in France, for their trust and invitation. Their initiative created a platform for dialogue between French and Chinese business communities at VivaTech, once again reaffirming the strength of our partnership. The week began with the opening ceremony of the China Pavilion & China–Europe Sci-Tech Innovation and Cooperation Forum, which gathered institutional leaders including H.E. Mr. DENG Li, Chinese Ambassador to France and to Monaco, Mr. LIU Jiandong, President of China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) 欧盟中国商会, Ms. Soumia Malinbaum, President of CCI Paris, and Mr. Nicolas Douchement, Chief Business & Experience Officer at #VivaTech. Our General Manager spoke on the importance of building a shared agenda between France, Europe, and China, highlighting opportunities for alignment in technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Focus then shifted towards industrial collaboration during the China-Europe Supply Chain Cooperation and Development Forum, where Mr. 李文国LI Wenguo highlighted the role of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) — taking place from July 16 to 20 in Beijing — as a strategic platform to strengthen industrial ties and foster more resilient cross-border supply chains. The Women Entrepreneurs Forum, opened by the inspiring Patricia Glasel, President of CCE Paris, and introduced by CHEN Nan, Representative of CCPIT Representative Office in France, brought together three remarkable women leaders — Claudia Crangasu MBA, Chief Marketing Officer at WordLift, BINTA DIALLO, CEO of Chateau Rouge, and Ting Ding, Founder and President of Experting — for a roundtable moderated by our General Manager, Caroline Penard. Through their journeys and experiences, these women leaders offered powerful insights and perspectives — proving that women are already driving innovation and impact, while paving the way for the next generation of entrepreneurs. Another key moment was the China–France Culture & Tourism Innovation and Cooperation Forum, which gathered key figures such as ZHANG Haomiao, Director of the China National Tourist Office in Paris, Emmanuelle Pérès, Director General of Fondation Prospective & Innovation, and Pascal Dasseux, Secretary General of the Vivendi Asia Committee and Executive VP of Havas. The session highlighted cultural exchange and tourism as essential drivers of mutual understanding and innovation — a particularly engaging and enriching moment for all participants.
