Heather Gruccio, our Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, took to the stage at the 2025 Women of Impact Summit, hosted by Delivering Good, for a conversation on purpose-driven leadership, giving back, and her career journey. Attendees heard from changemakers across various industries who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities and empowering women. ? Heather’s advice for the next generation of women leaders? ? “Lead with clarity and confidence. Assume good intent. And most importantly—truly listen. Don’t just say you’re open—be open. Lead authentically. The more you show up as yourself, the more space you create for others to do the same. That is where real trust begins.” ? Creativity, fun fabrics, volunteering? Count us in! Last week we continued our celebration of #VolunteerMonth with FABSCRAP – a nonprofit focused on extending the life of fabrics. Associates repurposing textile scraps to revamp clothing and decorate bags was the perfect creative break for our crew. What more could we ask for!??

As part of our #VolunteerMonth celebrations, we’re sharing stories from the people behind our Volunteer Council. The mission of this group is to foster connection and community, by creating engaging volunteer events, spreading the word on our philanthropic partnerships, and encouraging others to make a positive impact at Ann Taylor & LOFT. ?? Meet Brooke, Assistant Vice President, Sourcing Strategy & Operations!?She loves the community she’s discovered over 11 years of volunteering at Ann Taylor & LOFT, from participating in on-site events to donating proceeds from sample merchandise sales. She explains, “Volunteering is a great way to step out of your day job, get involved in a cause, and connect with other associates. Donating new clothes and essentials not only helps amazing organizations like our partner Delivering Good, it also puts a smile on your face. Our associate volunteers recently created a shopping experience for women and families helped by Delivering Good's services to stop by and get some items they need. We also had a photoshoot for Delivering Good to capture images of their comfort kits, which will be distributed to those in need during disasters. Check out some scenes from the day! ??
